Above is a chart that displays the diversity of gender in the Communications department for student. The department is a little more than 2/3s women.

Many might have noticed these two trends in their communication classes at NC State. Something interesting is the difference of diversity in gender when compared to the whole university. Below is the diversity in gender among all students at NC State:

This chart shows that more men attend the university than women, which is in contrast with the Communications department that is predominantly women. Our group is an example of this as we have 4 women and 1 man.
